Talking of Concord, was at Legoland some years ago and Concord took off from Heathrow, that was some bloody noise.

I remember the sonic boom tests they did above the Thames while Concorde was under development.

Was at school and the teachers had to open all the windows and we went to stand in the corridor to wait for it.

Even as a 7 year old, I was singularly unimpressed.
